TradeMark puppies are raised in our home, and we only have one or two litters a year. That being said we are dedicated to providing you an equipped, trainable and eager puppy. By doing so, we provide an accelerated stimulation program from Puppy Culture© starting with ENS (early neurological stimulation) with each puppy. This program arouses an emotional responses in puppies at a young age, and benefits them throughout their life. We teach them how to communicate using the marking, offering and manding techniques. This is priority for us because there is no relationship without communication or meaningful connections with other living beings.
The Puppy Culture program has a set schedule of social experiences, classical conditioning, and provides a rich environment of stimuli. Puppies are impressionable, so the weeks that we have before they go to there forever homes, we expose them to appropriate environments so the puppies are well adjusted and stress resistant.
Our puppies are also integrated into the Puppy Start Right Preschool program. This program enrols the puppies in training methods using positive socialization to prevent undesirable behaviours, and guidance to the introduction of positive training methods. This program commences at 7 weeks of age, and continues to 12 weeks old. Because these puppies are so fluid with these training methods, we offer information/training sessions for new puppy parents in order to continue their new puppies development.
With Puppy Culture and Puppy Start Right Preschool programs, we are confident in our puppies capabilities, and advancements it creates well rounded, adaptable, confident puppies.
We require each puppy parent to be involved in a brief nutrition and training session before taking their puppy home. This ensures everyone is on the same page, and increases the goal of greatness! We encourage our puppy buyers to send us pictures and updates as often as possible. We are more than happy to answer questions, assisting with training, behaviour and advice about nutrition.
At TradeMark Weimaraners, we take great pride in selecting forever homes for our puppies. Our puppies are sold by reservation to approved homes only. We only sell puppies to ACTIVE and ENGAGING homes. Ideally we would like to see a family or owner who enjoys hunting, field trials, skijoring, bikejoring, dog sledding, obedience, bite work, scent detection, agility, etc. We would also conduct an interview process asking some similar more in-depth questions as the application, as this allows us to get to know you better. We also recommend you to attend oedience training (of an approved trainer) within the first year of you owning your puppy. We believe that with at least some obedience training your success rate and quality of life living with a dog is increased, also it avoids any future issues.
If you successfully complete the application and interview process we ask you what you would like in a dog. An example might be, laid back, outgoing, affectionate, high prey drive, etc. Then we temperament test the puppies and match them according to what you desire and matches your lifestyle.
We require a $400 non-refundable deposit which goes towards the total price of the puppy and reserves a puppy for you. This deposit is your guarantee to us that you are committed to the purchase and ownership of a TradeMark puppy. In conjunction, the acceptance of your deposit is our guarantee to provide you with a quality Weimaraner to meet your needs. Lastly, we do not guarantee the sex of the dog, therefore if the desired sex is not available your deposit can be move to the next litter without penalty, however if there is a puppy available for you, your deposit may not be refunded.
